My favorite Thai restaurant on island. The food is good and some of it is exceptional, the Pineapple Curry for example. It’s also relatively inexpensive for Maui. The food overall is probably four stars but the prices make it one of my go to places when I’m in Maui. And the portions are big enough you’ll probably have leftovers for lunch on the beach. It’s sort of a hole-in-wall, casual place, so not the best choice for that ‘big night out’… but there are more than enough expensive places on Maui to fit that bill.
Rose, the gal who runs it, is very friendly and the overall vibe is great. It’s BYOB (pretty common on Maui), so if you want wine, beer or whatever just swing by the Foodland supermarket before you go to eat. The restaurant is relatively small, so make reservations if you can… especially on Friday or Saturday. It’s purely a Thai restaurant, so they have the full range of Thai dishes. As mentioned, the curries are very good. Summer rolls and seafood dishes are also great, particularly the Tamarind Shrimp.
Anyways, I love the place, so I highly recommend it.
